The Beautifully Flawed Retreat has been a light at the end of (or maybe midway through) the tunnel since the very first day I lost my leg in January 2024. Knowing that no matter how the next few months went that I’d soon be meeting other girls with limb differences and surfing in the California water again was something I could always, and often did, cling to. This amputation is hard, it’s life changing, but it’s not random. It’s for me and this retreat helps propel girls with heavy hardships to turn them into Glory.
